01 / Photograph your room
Choose Bedroom, Living room, Dining room, or Home office / study first. Each room has its own furniture categories. Then add one to four JPG, PNG or WebP photos, up to 25 MB each before preparation. Start from a corner with the floor, walls and windows visible. Your first photo sets the preview’s viewpoint. You can make another photo the main view.
Use the sample room if you want to explore the steps first. HEIC support depends on your browser; export as JPG if the photo will not open.
02 / Choose a direction
Browse Warm Modern, Organic Minimal, Japandi, Mid-Century Modern, Classic & Cozy, Bohemian, Cottage / Country, Industrial, Bauhaus, or upload your own inspiration. Inspiration guides the palette and mood; your room photos guide the space.
03 / Set the practical details
Enter a US ZIP and a budget for new products. Select the categories to update (and the number of individual dining chairs, if needed) and specify only the furniture that must stay. Leave the field blank to let NookMallow reuse, move or remove existing furniture. Mention a fixed position separately if needed. Walls, doors and windows remain unchanged. Add measured room dimensions if you have them. Shipping, tax and any future NookMallow generation fee are separate from your furniture budget.
04 / Explore your design
NookMallow searches real product listings, selects a set within budget and creates a room preview. Before showing a new preview, an AI check compares walls, doors, windows and room enclosure with your original photos. Minor styling differences do not trigger a retry. A substantial structural problem gets one automatic correction; if that still cannot pass, your selected products are kept and the unverified image is withheld. Detail views are optional. Above each product’s store link, choose Generate detail view to create a close-up of that piece. A numbered marker appears on the room image after its detail view is ready. You can hide markers, compare Before and After, lock products and ask for changes.
No detail images are generated automatically. Some items may be hidden in the preview, and some requested close-ups may fail. The main image and completed views remain available. Follow the on-screen retry action where available.
05 / Save and shop
Save the image and download the shopping list. Refresh prices before opening the exact product links. Confirm the variant, dimensions, delivery, shipping and taxes with each merchant. NookMallow does not place furniture orders.
Rooms are saved in this browser on this device. Clearing site data removes them. Download what you want to keep; there is no account or cross-device sync in this beta.
